My first real job was in advertising and recruitment for local retailers . Years later, I was recruited by Oxfam and had a 10 year career as a Regional Manager servicing 270 retail stores. Each retail outlet had individual stores dedicated to clothing, furniture, retro fashions, wedding dresses, books, and Fair Trade all managed and operated by 9000 volunteers and 32 District Managers. I was instrumental in developing many marketing and recruitment campaigns, national and local events and volunteer management programs.
For the last 10 years I have been offering my professional experience and services back to small and medium sized businesses as a tech savvy Virtual Assistant. My services are office organization - white glove test approved!; personal assistance - I have your back; document management/presentation - making your brand look good; social media set-up and management - phew!;, recruitment/on-boarding/off-boarding - make them feel at home!; and a whole lot of troubleshooting - there is always a solution somewhere just waiting to be found.
I am very resourceful, an exceptional communicator, verbal and written and provide a top notch service. I love what I do. I love working with entrepreneurs and the variety of the work they are involved in. It is an exciting industry. I enjoy how it changes so quickly and the challenge of learning something new. Additionally, if I do not have the answers, I know someone who does know the answers. I am very well connected.
My passion and skill is assisting others to achieve their passions and adding value to their day and business results. My goal is to assist you to work "ON" it and not "IN" it. And I am good at it.
